In order to film on Balearic Islands beaches and coast, it is necessary to request permission from the Balearic Islands Coastal Demarcation department, addressing the request, along with all pertinent information, to the Demarcation Director. Once permission has been granted, by law, Coastal Demarcation makes a charge that varies depending on the type of production, the days spent filming and the area occupied. This charge has to be paid at a bank and the receipt sent to Coastal Demarcation, before the permit is issued.
